# How do I delete my profile?

We understand that circumstances change, and you may need to leave masihimatch. Whether you’ve found a meaningful connection or are taking a break from your search, we’re here to assist you with the profile deletion process.

If you just need a break, you don’t have to delete anything. In Settings, under Profile Visibility, choose **Paused** (your profile is hidden and your outgoing marhabas pause, while your existing matches and chats stay active) or **Private** (only people you’ve sent a marhaba to or matched with can see you).

Deleting your account removes your profile, matches and conversations from the app, and it can’t be undone. For safety reasons we keep some information for a short time afterward; our [Privacy Policy](https://masihimatch.com/privacy/) explains what and for how long.

To delete your profile:

1. Navigate to the Profile screen
2. Tap on “Settings”
3. Scroll to the bottom and select “Delete Account”
4. Choose a reason, then confirm with “Delete My Account”. For some reasons the app first offers a **Reset** that brings back the people you skipped while keeping your profile and matches
