# Why is my application still in review?

An application stays in review for two reasons. The first is the check itself: a person on our team compares your selfie with your photos and reads your profile. The second is who else is here. We only open your account once there are enough compatible members near you. Otherwise you would not have a good experience, because there would not be enough compatible potential matches. The first part is quick. The second can take a while, and it depends on your area more than on you.

Our mission is to help Middle Eastern Christians find a partner for marriage through faith, culture and shared values. A community like that grows the right way, not the fast way, and the day you come in you should see people worth meeting.

## What moves it along

- Invite single friends and family who share your faith and values: the fastest way to grow the community where you live
- Keep notifications on. We’ll tell you the moment there’s a decision
- Keep your profile complete and current, so you’re ready on day one
